Bringing Generations Together Through Music
SUPERAR Suisse Joins Eurovision Celebrations with Concert Series in Basel Retirement Homes

SUPERAR Suisse, one of our proud members, is embracing the spirit of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 not only on stage, but in the heart of the community.

In collaboration with the ESC Team 2025 and supported by Novartis, Superar Suisse is launching a series of intergenerational concerts in retirement homes across Basel this April and May. The initiative, part of Eurovision's public value projects, is designed to extend the joy and inclusivity of the ESC to all corners of society—proving that Eurovision is much more than just a series of live shows.

At the core of Superar Suisse’s mission is the belief that music can transform lives. By offering free, high-quality choral and orchestral training to children regardless of their background, the organization nurtures talent, confidence, and community. Through these special performances, the children of the Superar Suisse choir and orchestra are not only sharing their passion for music—they are also building bridges between generations, sparking moments of joy and connection with elderly audiences.

The concert series will culminate in a very special moment: on 10 May, the young musicians will open the main stage on Barfüsserplatz, officially kicking off the day’s Eurovision celebrations in Basel.

This collaboration highlights the deep social dimension of music and celebrates its ability to bring people together—across generations, cultures, and experiences.

For Superar Suisse, music is not just heard—it’s shared.
